The Highwaymen are seasoned and well-trained plunderers, who also often work as bodyguards, bounty hunters or lawmen. They're romanticized in popular culture, but not liked by the federal govts. They prefer to use ranged weapons, and possess better training with those than most Bandits, but they're far from harmless in melee. Their leather armors allow them to dodge sloppy blows, as well as provide some protection against most forms of attack, like daze, fire, chem, smoke and cutting - at the price of movement speed.
