Nekomimi civilization is not dependant on Hellerium, but some of its members appreciate its calming glow - for what they can buy with it in the great Stellar Empire of the Star Gods. They leave the Nekomimi sphere and sell their combat skills to any bidders. Some of these Nekomimi are genuine criminals and outlaws, but many of them do this out of some perceived disgrace or simply a thirst for adventure. However, they are all officially denounced by the Nekomimi Empress.
