STATUS: CLIENT RACE
This race has always been characterized by xenophilia. When the Star Gods appeared above their garden world, Astronaughts embraced them readily, never seeing their subservience as anything but a natural relationship between the teacher and the student. They immediately wanted to go and meet as many aliens as possible, but to maximize the contact potential, they rebuilt their bodies to be able to survive in any alien environment, and packed them full of sensors and probes. They however made one crucial mistake: everyone considers them unsexy and boring. This didn't help their own ailing demographics, either. Nowadays they can be met in all the galactic bordellos, paying large sums to continue their 'researches'. Coupled with the fact that their Hellerium stockpiles are dwindling, it makes them desperate to earn money in any way possible.
