Status: ISOLATED COMMUNITIES
Only a fraction of the Old Earth elites managed to secure a position in the newly-emerged world order. Others chose, or were forced to find alternate ways of surviving. Some of these Purebloods imagined that closing themselves off in high-tech enclaves, like isolated valleys, islands, or underground complexes, would be their salvation. Some of those communities, which still have some functional machinery, survive to this day, if only barely - thrown back to Neolithic subsistence farming with some high-technology characteristics. It is only a question of time before they disappear completely.
