The shadowlands are, as the name implies, often covered in shadows. To appreciate their look to the fullest, it is reccomended to use Half-Light vision (CTRL+END toggles between Normal, Half-Light and Full-Light). Your Gals in Shadowlands generate circles of light. You can toggle that light off ('L') but your natural Night Vision is poor in these realms. There are also rumours that certain Shadowland creatures have a much harder time spotting you in light than in the dark.
