We have mastered the secret of making the mysterious Phantom Bolts. It seems that what the Conversion Launcher requires to be able to spawn them is informational and emotional engram of a person. We theorize that it needs such data to create a phantom mind to 'pilot' the bolt, but it's all very far-fetched. What we know is that our Runts need to engrave a metal rod in a ritualistic fashion, then the Conversion Launcher somehow changes it into a deadly missile. Who'd think that personal data could kill?
