Status: CULTURAL MOVEMENT
One of the greatest mysteries of the Nekomimi is their unknown origin. It has been proven that they didn't develop on their planet, which has spurred many of them to seek for their lost homeworld amongst the stars. It being Earth is one of their most fashionable theories, which has been popularized by an influential researcher and expert on Earth's culture, Prisha Asht'thar, about a century ago. Due to the war between Nekomimi and the Stellar Empire, travel between our planets is difficult, yet still many Nekomimi come to Earth as either pilgrims or, more commonly, tourists and adventurers.
