Today we're interviewing one of the more controversial Academicians, Ypsissima Torro. One of her most known theories is that we were threatened by a great flood. 'The barbaric economy of XXth century Earth was on the brink of plunging our planet into a huge ecological disaster', are her words. 'Burning of wood and oil, using the energy of Uranus, rearing of countless herds of butcher animals, all that produced vast amounts of so-called greenhouse gases. These gases accumulated in the atmosphere, and, if not for arrival of the Star Gods and their clean technologies, would have caused by now substantial increase of Earth's temperature, melting of polar caps, rising of ocean levels, desertification of arable land.' However, she categorically denies popular accusations of her supporting the Great Culling myth. 'It is true,' she says, 'that the population of our planet had decreased since then, but the infamous six billions figure is, frankly, grossly exaggerated. There is a lot of evidence which debunks the Culling conspiracy theory.'
