One day, Mun Tzu and Wise Wu met for a philosophical discussion. Both holy men started walking down the road and talked for many days and nights, yet they could never agree on even a single thing. And thus, they were so deep in their conversation that they didn't realize they've been ambushed by bandits. Mun Tzu became worried, for he found the situation almost impossible to win; they were surrounded from all sides. He put his hand on his sword to prepare for a desperate charge. Yet Wise Wu smiled broadly, opened his arms and started talking to the bandits like they were his best friends. The bandits, however, would have none of this. One of them grabbed Wu's holy necklace, threw it to the ground and spat on it. To this, Wise Wu finally took offence. He shed his robe and dispatched all the bandits with one hundred and fourty-four lightning strikes of his little finger.
'But I thought you were a pacifist,' marveled Mun Tzu, rubbing his beard. 'Yes,' answered Wise Wu. 'This was the only way left to stop the violence.' To this, Mun Tzu nodded his head. They did agree on something in the end.
