Capt'n, Gudrun's nature is frustratingly nonsensical. Her physical changes, the experiments we've performed on her, even her somehow acquired Hellerium metabolism, none of this is replicable on other subjects. After all that we have learned, I can no longer deceive myself. The only hypothesis left is that all of this was somehow enabled by her psychological changes. But this is contrary to our laws of physics. Yet not contrary to what I would expect from a living Shadow, if Shadowtech rules are any indicator. And then you have her ability to 'step' into the Shadowrealms in certain conditions, even without a Gate. I say it's time to grill her for answers.
