'During one of my voyages, I managed to find a so-called Tannhauser Gate. But it's not a gate, or a hole, or a portal. It is a transfer. You travel to the Shadowlands as a conscious wave of energy. The things you see... Stars being born and dying, galaxies passing by... and then I landed in what you can call a weird dimension, naked except for my ocular and a couple of other small devices. I think the transfer only lets specific patterns of matter through, since these devices were attuned to my nervous system. This goes both ways, I was unable to take anything back with me. I have seen unending tunnels, bathed in a purple haze, and experienced dream-like states. I barely remember having to fight some sort of humanoids before being forced to go back.'
